BRANDON COOK
Strategic Vision and Creative Development
I've spent my life pursuing the study and the practice of what it takes to build a soul from the inside out. Educated at Wheaton College, Jerusalem University College, Brandeis University, and Oxford University, my work now involves engaging deep change processes with higher performers. I am the host of the Naming the Real Podcast and the president of The Seven Elementals. I spend much of my time in the forests and mountains of Western North Carolina.
I've had successes. I've made all sorts of huge mistakes. The one thing I can say that I have consistently done has been ruthless and committed to discovering the key element it takes to build a life from the inside out towards fruitfulness, not just towards success but towards fruitfulness. That learning has mainly come from my mistakes.
But this is my passion. Besides my wife and kids and family and friends, and a nice MLT (mutton lettuce and tomato sandwich when the mutton is nice and fresh), I love nothing more than being with someone doing deep personal work, deep soul work to step in something completely new for their lives. It is the best.
My superpower (we all have superpowers, I believe) is the ability to be in the arena with someone and to help them name and face—and support them as they face—the work they need to engage in order to thrive. It doesn't wear me out. It doesn't exhaust me. It makes me come alive to be with people in that space and I will fight tenaciously for anyone who's pursuing freedom. I think it's transformed individuals who change the world.
